Preaching God's Word on Land and Sea
We
can't believe how quickly autumn flew by! We pray each of you enjoy
celebrating our Savior's birth this Christmas! We'd like to give you an
update on recent ministry happenings.
This fall, Jim has preached week-long prophecy conferences to churches
in Galax, VA and Jacksonville, FL. Everywhere we go, God's people
want to talk to Jim about prophecy, even if it is not
the topic for the messages he is bringing to their church.
Christians everywhere are saying, "He's coming soon!" The last Sunday in
November, Jim attended a prophecy conference in Dallas, TX with Tony
Kessinger, where he enjoyed learning even more about prophecy.
Jim also shared the principles of a God-centered church with churches in
Shannon, MS, Gainesville, FL and Grant, FL. Jim used the principles to
encourage and train pastors, elders, and deacons in Chicago,
Michigan, Virginia, and Florida.
November brought the Bible Cruise, and while on the ship, we experienced
an exemplification of what the church is supposed to be. We met
together, worshiping God and focusing on his Word. We partnered with the
Space Coast Seafarers Ministry, and Mark and Jeanie Wodka helped equip
us to share the gospel with the employees on the ship. We ate together,
walked together, encouraged one another. And the Word spread on the
ship. People who came on the cruise not knowing there would be a Bible
Study attended, and our original 85 people doubled, filling the
room. We are praising God for a wonderful, encouraging time.
In early December, Jim led a Married Couples Retreat at Monadnock Bible
Conference Center in Jaffrey, NH. Becky was able to attend the
conference with him. The weekend was a great blessing. Once again, the
fellowship was sweet, and we praise God for speaking through Jim about
how He wants to use our marriages to paint a beautiful picture of Christ
and His church.
As the year comes to a close, we thank you for your generous support of
the ministry. God uses your gifts and welcomes your prayers as He sends
out His Word. We praise Him for his grace and provision. If you would
like to give a year-end gift, please make sure it is postmarked by
December 31 for tax purposes. Whether or not you are able to give
financially, please keep us in your prayers. God is a gracious, amazing
God, and we praise Him for ministering through us.
We pray you have a blessed Christmas, and a very happy 2015!!
