"Behold, I am doing a new thing..."

God is doing amazing things, filling Jim’s schedule in ways He never has before. In March Jim will be preaching at a Christian singles gathering, a senior adult luncheon, and revival services at Calvary Baptist in Grant, FL. We will fly to Chicago the last weekend in March for a reunion with friends from our time serving there. This spring Jim will preach revivals or Bible conferences at Hopewell Baptist Church in Lake City, FL, and Hillcrest Baptist Church in Galax, VA.
In between all of these traveling and speaking events, Jim will continue to speak at Men in Motion luncheons (Tuesdays, Central Baptist Church in Melbourne, FL), teach his weeknight Bible studies (Tuesday and Wednesday evenings), and he will also continue his six day a week radio program. A New Role for Jim...
In addition to all this normal activity, God has also called Jim to help a local church that is very dear to our hearts. Jim was confirmed this past Sunday as transitional pastor at First Baptist Indialantic. FBI is the church where I (Becky) grew up, was saved and baptized, and also was faithfully discipled by some wonderful folks. Jim and I met and were married at this church. Jim served at FBI as youth pastor in the 1980’s, and as pastor from 2000-2005. Our children were all saved, and then baptized by their dad at FBI. Needless to say, the body of Christ there is very special to us.
God has clearly called Jim to help lead this church to switch from congregational government to a Biblical elder leadership model. We are glad to be with the folks there, and are all learning together to love Jesus and each other more! Please pray for Jim as he listens carefully for God’s voice as he appoints elders and fulfills God’s plan for him in this role as well as continuing all the travel of Justapreacher Ministries.

August 2019

Jim is the keynote speaker at Alton Bay Christian Conference Center for the month of August and first Sunday in September. The weeks of August 4 and August 11, Jim will speak Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. He will preach Sunday mornings and evenings August 18, 25, and September 1. If you have never been to beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, here is a perfect opportunity! The folks at ABCCC are wonderful, and you are sure to be challenged by the teaching of God’s Word! 2019 Justapreacher Ministries Bible Cruise November 16-23, 2019

This November we will embark on the 6^th Justapreacher Ministries Bible Cruise! This year we are excited to partner with First Baptist Church of Melbourne. We already have a large group reserved to sail on the Carnival Breeze out of Port Canaveral. The Bible Cruise is a great opportunity to study the Bible and to share God’s love with the crew and other passengers.
The Bible uses the phrase “much more” repeatedly. For the cruise, the Lord is leading Jim to take us through the Bible to examine in detail the “much more” passages of scripture. As Luke 11:13 states, “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” We will explore the depth of what God is teaching us when He says “much more”.
